MBBS / BOS Scholarships in Bangladesh

Government of Bangladesh provides 20 MBBS and 3 BDS Scholarship seats for meritorious Nepalese Students under SAARC Quota.

Eligibility Criteria:

SLC or equivalent examination passed not before 2016
+2 or equivalent examination passed not before 2018
Minimum aggregate GPA in SLC/SEE or equivalent plus +2 or equivalent =8.00 (eight) Minimum GPA either in SLC or equivalent or in +2 or equivalent= 3.5
Minimum GPA in biology = 3.5
Those students who have secured 10 GPA will have high chance of getting scholarship Candidates must have passed entrance conducted by IOM (TU}, PAHS, BPKIHS

How to Calculate your GPA?

Calculation of GPA against the marks obtained in SLC or equivalent:
Consider marks obtained in top 5 subjects only(subjects in which you have scored higher marks) GPA in SLC or equivalent = (sum of Grade point of top five subjects) +5
Calculation of GPA against the marks obtained in +2 or equivalent:
Consider marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology only GPA in +2 or equivalent = (sum of Grade Points in PCB) +3
Total GPA= (GPA in SLC) + (GPA in +2}

MBBS I BOS in Bangladesh (Self Finance)

Admission Requirements for studying MBBS & BDS in Bangladesh
• SLC or equivalent examination passed not before 2016
• Candidate must have a valid Passport
• +2 or equivalent examination passed not before 2018
• Minimum aggregate GPA in SLC or equivalent and +2 or equivalent= 7.00
• Minimum GPA in Biology: 3.5 (minimum 59.5%)
• Candidate must have passed entrance exam conducted by TU (IOM), KU, BPKIHS or PAHS (Entrance Exam Result is valid upto 2 years)

Documents Required

• Valid Passport
• SLC Marksheet and Character Certificate
• +2 Transcript and Character Certificate
• Citizenship Certificate
• PP Size Photographs (14 Copies)

Processing Steps

1. Obtain Passport
2. Get Provisional Admission Letter from the college
3. Submit Application Form in Embassy of Bangladesh in Nepal
4. Obtain Entrance Exam Pass Certificate (Score Card) from the respective  university
5. Apply and get N MC Eligibility Certificate
6. Get No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Education, Nepal
7. Send tuition fee through TT I Swift in the name of the college
8. Apply for Student Visa
